Preparation
Two to three weeks before surgery, avoid medications that thin the blood and increase the chance of bleeding and bruising during the procedure. These include any medicine containing aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs, e.g. Ibuprofen (Advil®, Motrin®, Nuprin®) and Naproxen (Aleve®), as well as vitamin E supplements. Other alternative medicines such as Ginkgo Biloba should not be taken before surgery. A complete list will be distributed at your consultation.
The relationship with your plastic surgeon does not end when you leave the operating room. After the initial healing period, you will return to the Alexander Ereso Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics for postoperative follow-up visits.
